    People forget that you need both exercise AND a healthy diet in order to lose weight. You can’t just walk more while eating the same stuff and expect to slim down.

    I tend to agree with Alex. If your idea of walking to stay fit is walking to the fridge to grab a beer during commercials, then you probably need to walk farther — possible down the road to sobriety!

    Massachusetts, California, and a few other states will hopefully serve as examples to the rest of the states on how not to conduct public policy on entitlements.

    Good point, Alex. The reverse is also true – a lot of people eat healthy, but don’t exercise.
