    There is a study that found many seniors are taking more than a dozen prescription drugs. A doctor interviewed for an article about the study said that for a senior who is on that many drugs, some of the drugs are to counteract the side-effects of some other drugs they are taking. In many cases, people have multiple doctors prescribing multiple drugs and no one doctor knows all the drugs a person is on. That might be why people have adverse drug reactions.

    Federal government benefits are 48% richer than the private sector. And CBO says government health care costs will double in the next decade. Are these two related?

    This wouldn’t be such a bad figure if it was just a regular federal jobs program.
