Headlines I Wish I Hadn’t Seen
Administration officials say about 476,000 health insurance applications have been filed through federal and state exchanges, but won’t say how many people have actually enrolled.
Nearly three-fourths of the uninsured have never heard of the (ObamaCare) exchanges.
Al Gore: Global warming is producing “increasing storms, floods, droughts and other extreme events.”
New study: “2013 ranks as one of the least extreme U.S. weather years ever.”
“Nearly three-fourths of the uninsured have never heard of the (ObamaCare) exchanges.”
Which is reason to believe that the whole program is unnecessary because it is likely they didn’t know of existing programs which could have helped them.
It’s pointless to speculate because those programs didn’t exist. Republicans never would have let them pass.
They did exist.
For instance, there was a federal high-risk pool for those with pre-existing conditions and hardly anyone signed up for it.
Probably because Republicans did their best to make sure no one knew about it.
“Administration officials say about 476,000 health insurance applications have been filed through federal and state exchanges, but won’t say how many people have actually enrolled.”
It’s probably laughably low.
Laugh, cry, it does a bit of both.
If it weren’t for Republicans there wouldn’t be classes in the first place.
There are always classes, even in so-called “classless” societies.
It’s thinking like that that keeps humanity from achieving the greatness we’re capable of.
Gore is confusing increased development, property costs, and inflation with greater storm strength. Storm strength can remain the same (and has) but if the others grow there is more devastation so it looks as if the storm was stronger.
You can’t deny the science of global warming.
I’m not, I’m just saying you can’t use the example that Gore does to support his point.
Krugman is nothing more than a polemicist.
Whether there is rain or draught, Gore will blame global warming.
Rain or shine, the post office always delivers the mail and Gore says they’re lucky not to have been crushed by giant hail stones.
Well, the post office doesn’t always deliver the mail anymore.
How many of those applications are complete and ready to be accepted without review?
My bet is very few.
Most probably don’t even relate to real people.

Nah just higher highs and higher lows have really been proven and those more pronounced further from the equator.
