If you want big bones or broken bones, drink an inappropriate amount of alcohol. Counting calories will be frustratingly ineffective, so you should drink alcohol to prevent the formation of any memory of it.
“People cannot store long term memories prior to age four.”
I’ve known people who claimed to have memories of their early childhood going way back to age 3. I too thought I had early childhood memories then I realized I was probably merely visualizing memories of situations my mother had described about me.
They needed a study to figure out that the worst part about drinking (as far a gaining weight is concerned)is the binge EATING that goes with the drinking? I could’ve conducted that study for free.
I guess the moral of this story is: if you drink alcohol to control weight, don’t wind up in the ER!
Or maybe the moral should be heavy drinking is associated both with weight GAIN and winding up in the ER.
I think the moral is:
“People cannot store long term memories prior to age four.”
once they start drinking…
That doesn’t make sense. I think you mean they can’t remember memories prior to age four once they start drinking.
Or maybe we’ll find out that drinking helps you recall memories formed prior to age four.
Here it is:
If you want big bones or broken bones, drink an inappropriate amount of alcohol. Counting calories will be frustratingly ineffective, so you should drink alcohol to prevent the formation of any memory of it.
An alternative interpretation could be “People cannot store long term memories after four beers…”
I’ve known women who claimed they weren’t heavy… just big boned. They were wrong about the former but apparently correct about the latter.
“People cannot store long term memories prior to age four.”
I’ve known people who claimed to have memories of their early childhood going way back to age 3. I too thought I had early childhood memories then I realized I was probably merely visualizing memories of situations my mother had described about me.
Most of us still do this, even concerning recent events. It is amazing what we convince ourselves of.
“Standard calorie counts are mostly wrong.”
Regardless, counting them has helped people make healthier decisions.
“Heavy people have big bones: a weight belt can boost bone density.”
Maybe they shouldn’t have been, apparently being heavy is better!
They needed a study to figure out that the worst part about drinking (as far a gaining weight is concerned)is the binge EATING that goes with the drinking? I could’ve conducted that study for free.
