You Just Can’t Make this Stuff Up

The Obama administration has misused its regulatory authority to prevent planned cuts to seniors’ health plans from taking effect one month before the 2012 election, Republican lawmakers alleged Thursday. A year has passed since the ACA became law. I am tired of the politics that has occurred since the ACA was signed by the president.

If proponents really believe in the minimum loss ratio regulations; if they really believe limited benefit plans should be abolished; if they really believe Medicare Advantage plans are wasteful, then why are they backing away from allowing the provisions to take place?

If it is prudent to delay implementation of these onerous provisions to avoid hardship, that is a sign the provision should never have been passed in the first place.

I agree with Ken and Joe. We are living under a health care dictatorship.

    From the Article:
A Medicare agency official denied the charge, and said the payment reform demonstration program was authorized under the healthcare reform law.

So the republicans were going to try to use this demagoguery against the democrats during next election and obviously have not read the bill they are attempting to vilify.

How does promoting Medicare Advantage Plans with their 13% premium load help reduce the cost of health care? or create jobs?
