Interesting legal issue raised by the kidney. The husband should have made the gift conditional on continuing good relations. Or at a minimum, he should have gotten agreement on how he was to be compensated in case of a divorce.
I suppose it’s one more thing to put in a pre-nupt.
If you cannot buy a kidney, then you can’t have a contractual exchange for one. A contract requires consideration. So maybe the husband can claim he never relinguished his ownership rights.

The vitamin studies are shocking. Think how much money people have spent on antioxidents and other vitamins, thinking they are preventing cancer.
