  1. Virginia says:

If you have to say, “It’s ONLY going to cost X amount…” then it’s already too expensive, and there’s a good chance that your estimate is too low.

I think that’s a good rule of thumb.

Better yet, take the estimate, double it, and then add $20 billion. That’ll probably get you closer to the real number.

  2. Bruce says:

Harry Reid quote is classic. I suspect his opponents in the November election in Nevada will have great fun with it.

  3. Larry C. says:

I think all the oppoent will have to do is just replay this Harry Reid video. Harry Reid loses this one, even if the opponent is a tree stump.

  4. Devon Herrick says:

The 10-year cost of ObamaCare is more than $2 trillion (possibly $3 trillion) dollars.

    Yet, we continually hear about:

    1) the high cost of doing nothing. And,

    2) for health coverage to truly be affordable, everyone must be covered.

The two latter statements don’t mesh too well with reality.

  5. Bart Ingles says:

Devon: the second statement is completely false. Forced coverage doesn’t make anything more affordable. It merely conceals a tax.
