The gene piece is consistent with other posts I have seen at this site. It’s a big disappointment. As you said before (if I remember right) all this would be so much easier if there were one gene, one disease. Things don’t work well if there are 10,000 genes for each disease.
There is nothing wrong with guidelines. What is wrong is forcing or intimidating doctors into following a cookbook, regardless of the needs of the patient.
