By this research, women are better listeners. Maybe.

  2. Devon Herrick says:

Elderly men are typically in worse health than elderly women. You could probably also argue that men are more aloof — and less compliant — about medical care than women. These facts make it plausible that men would be re-admitted to hospitals more frequently than women.

Hi I worked as a cna for about a year at a nuinrsg home..VERY HARD!! This is a very hard job..toileting people..changing them feeding them..cleaning them..be prepared!! At the place i worked i was making 11 an hour..but i knew a few people making around 13 or so..at nuinrsg homes..BUT i intened with school at a hospital..so much easier..working as a cna at a hospital..depending on the floor you are going to be taking vitals and doing blood sugars and ASSISTING people to the bathroom and with adl’s..you are not going to have to do many of the things you will do in a nursng home..while i was there i was told cna’s with no experience would start around..15 an hour with experience a little more..so hospital is less strenus work and more money..I probably would still be working as a cna but decided to switch career paths..going to school to be a teacher now..btw i did this when i was in highschool couple years ago so may be a little more now..and im in mass so could be more or less where you are! Hope this helps!! p.s.It is much harder to get a cna job at a hospital!! But if you can and you choose a hospita in the city i think it closer to 17-18 an hour!
