There are Reasons for Single Women to be Unhappy
Single women are suffering greater economic peril than married ones. Over the past year, the number of unemployed, unmarried females rose 3.6 percent, while married women saw only a 1.7 percent increase. For single mothers with a 4.1 percent increase, it’s even worse… Though single women account for only 46.5 percent of the female labor force, they account for six in 10 female workers who are jobless, according to the Center for American Progress report.
