    I read Maggie Mahar’s article where she agonizes over the plight of people not being forced to pay for a lot of excess mandated benefits in their health plan’s package of essential benefits. She whimsically suggested that the words Patient Protection should be removed from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care ACt. It sort of irritated me to think she took exception to the IOM Committee considering the cost of their recommended mandates.
