That’s an eye opener. You have to earn twice as much to live in New York?
What this shows is that the coastal cities, where the ability to develop is often severely limited, are rationing scarce space with much higher prices.
Miami isn’t too bad. I consider it coastal.
Which is why FAFSA needs to consider the student’s home town/state when calculating expected family contribution!
I’d like to see a model with property and state taxes included.
