Wonder what kind of polling is done of people who die in hospital because care of them is judged “futile,” of those who are in hospital but they starve to death or are put on the Liverpool Care Pathway (in the UK), and those who just can’t get into the hospital because they’re on waiting lists or just being “observed” in order to avoid Medicare penalties on readmissions?
According to the first link, the Recovery Board stated that “the total amount of money lost to fraud from the $840 billion stimulus program was a miniscule $11.1 million so far”…really? miniscule? as in $11 million that could have been invested toward other projects? or perhaps toward offering better care to seniors? or maybe invest it in health plans for the less fortunate families and stop taking away from well-off families? Mind blowing.

There is no surprise that there are 1900 cases of “potential” misspent money. Honestly, Im surprised there are not more cases.
Race can contribute to medical history, and predict possible illness. Such as blood pressure, heart problems, the span of ones life.
