“Man covered by ObamaCare owes half the cost of a $54,000 helicopter ambulance bill.”
Actually, if you read the article to which you linked, you’ll see that:
* The man is /not/ covered by ObamaCare. His policy predates ObamaCare: “My coverage from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois is exempt from the new limits because it predates the ACA, but it still has annual spending caps. ”
* The man was /not/ required by his insurer to pay half the cost of the ambulance bill: “After pointing out to Blue Cross Blue Shield that I couldn’t have shopped around for an in-network helicopter ride, given that I was strapped to a back board with a broken neck, my insurer recognized that the bill was for emergency care. I’d already hit my out-of-pocket limit, so Blue Cross Blue Shield paid the entire cost of my flight.”

Truuuuuuuuth
At some point he still did face the cost of the bill though
It was more about him being billed wrong, and it’s always possible that most people are billed wrong in the hopes they will pay
“Prices for a dozen generic drugs jumped 2,000 percent in one year: FDA to blame.”
Supply and Demand. A shortage of supply dictates a rise in demand, thus prices are supposed to jump. Free market economic theory?
Exactly
But the FDA posting these results definitely don’t help. People certainly will react to situations
Are they posting results to skew prices though? Because that would be super corrupt…
“Users report better experience on broken state ObamaCare exchanges than federal healthcare.gov exchange.”
Yes, it’s amazing at how much better states are at running their own exchanges. In almost every case their sign up percentage has been higher
Northern states especially
Pffft yeah Texas doesn’t even know it has healthcare
“Did Kathleen Sebelius request kickbacks from H&R block for enrolling ObamaCare applicants?”
I honestly would not be surprised. She is horrendous
It would explain why she stayed in power so long
If she wasn’t before, she will now. Her lobbying power would be enormous
