Just another testament of how careless the new law is in some areas. This happens when you pass a law for political gain as rapidly as possible, especially one as intricate as health care.
Of course premium are going to rise, wasn’t that the plan all along? The whole thing is a mendacious ruse to ultimately get single payer. More government to fix the old government, isn’t that old trick?

I’m not surprised, they are incentivized by profit to do so. The problem is that government lets them. The partnership between business and government that Obama loves so much IS crony capitalism.

This is just another representation of how bureaucratic our government has become. This type of comprehensive reform, even if it was a good idea, needs politicians in Washington to think with more foresight before implementing it.
They only need those checking accounts for 9 months. Insurers aren’t allowed to cancel until 3 months missed payments. They are only on the hook for 1 month though. Providers are very worried about the potential of 2 months free services they will have to provide! No penalties and can’t turn you down or make you pay more the following year – or even recoup the payments. Unbelievable!
