Does ObamaCare Redistribute from Whites to Blacks?
…[T]he Affordable Care Act can be construed as a transfer of benefits from Medicare, which serves an overwhelmingly white population of the elderly — 77 percent of recipients are white — to ObamaCare, which will serve a population that is 54.7 percent minority. Over 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office, the Affordable Care Act cuts $455 billion from the Medicare budget in order to help pay for ObamaCare.
Those who think that a critical mass of white voters has moved past its resistance to programs shifting tax dollars and other resources from the middle class to poorer minorities merely need to look at the election of 2010, which demonstrated how readily this resistance can be used politically.

Why can’t people just be people? How come busybodies all have to break down everything from careers, to incomes to health status to health plans into which ethnic groups falls into which category?
And one need only look at all of human history to see people happily deceived by their political masters.
I’m more interested to see how these programs shift wealth from the young to the old.

One of the benefits of modernity is that it isn’t required to be.
Much to the chagrin of many “progressives.”
Not surprising considering their ultimate goal is a single-payer system, and as in all single-payer systems some groups are more equal than others.
At least in the new system people aren’t dying from lack of medicine.
How can 54.7% be a minority? By definition it is a majority.
It means “non-white.”
Then they should say that. Obfuscation is the tool of propagandists, not journalists.
I think you hit the nail on the head there.
It’s a majority of a minority in other words.
This race baiting trial balloon seems to have popped…
