CON laws have never made sense to me. I understand the idea, but in practice, they often provide incentives for hospitals and nursing homes to keep old facilities rather than renovate and expand. They also block new competitors, which, in my experience, is bad for patient care.
How much do you think it would cost to go capture the diamond planet and bring it home?
