This is Shawn Tully, writing in Fortune:
- Freedom to choose what's in your plan
- Freedom to be rewarded for healthy living, or pay your real costs
- Freedom to choose high-deductible coverage
- Freedom to keep your existing plan
- Freedom to choose your doctors
Good piece. Shawn is a good writer and is usually spot on when it comes to health pollicy.
Agree with Ken.
Good article, although the part dealing with community rating seems a bit overblown. Granted the 2:1 version being proposed is outrageous– almost as bad as pure community rating– but on the other hand, most Americans’ insurance already uses modified community rating.
