  1. Devon Herrick says:

I’m not surprised birds prefer non-organic bird seed.

My mother once bought some organic grain as part of a diet prescribed by her physician, who was treating her for cancer.

The organic grain tasted so bad my mother couldn’t eat it. Rather than throw it out, I mixed it with the birdseed in my bird feeder. The birds wouldn’t eat it either.

  2. Virginia says:

I did that one time with a TV dinner. It was so bad that the cats wouldn’t eat it. I don’t even think it attracted flies.

Penn & Teller did a show on organic food for their Showtime series. They did a blind taste test for all of these hippie organic buyers, and 8 out of 10 liked the regular produce better (before they knew which was which, of course).

About doctors: If I were an overweight physician, I would have a lot of trouble telling my patients what to eat.

I’m surprised the birds don’t like organic birdseed. Can’t the read the label? Haven’t they seen the ads?

I’m afraid that firing employees and slashing wages is going to be a big part of our future.
