Health care reform was never about reducing spending. That’s too politically unpalatable. First the Government expands coverage to the uninsured. Then, when the costs become unsustainable, the government will take it over and expand Medicare to cover everyone. When there is no competition it will be easier to ration care by refusing to reimburse certain services, control the price of other services and refuse to fund anything new by deeming it “experimental.”
When I see a dem congressman saying that Medicare is more efficient than private insurance, I wonder how he thinks hositals, etc can make it with out the preponderance of privately insured patients that this country has that pay to keep the facilities and medics open. It’s called lying and other fancy words like obfuscating. Still He wants to keep his insurance and not join us commoners. thro’em out!!

Even without health reform, the Obama projected deficits now total $9 trillion. That’s trillion with a “t”.
