    The ad is very gross.

    I agree with Vicki.

Advertising must work well to cause consumers to change their behavior. After all, the most successful companies in the world spend a large chunk of change on their advertising budgets.

But I’m not a fan of taxpayer-funded advertising campaigns. The seat belt advertisements, for example, had a limited effect on behavior change. So state governments just made it illegal to drive without wearing a seatbelt.

My guess is that these anti-fat advertisements won’t work either.

  4. Devon Herrick says:

I’m not convinced that public service announcements will change ingrained behavior.

  5. Stephen C. says:

  6. Caramoan8 says:

The only way you can manage obesity is throught Proper Diet and lots of exercise. The human body is designed for work so we should always get some form of physical exercise to stay fit.

  7. Gelly Anderson says:

Obesity and diabetes are becoming more and more of a problem these days. Actually it is easy to avoid being overweight by just having the proper diet and exercise.
