Headlines I Wish I Hadn’t Seen
Red wine is healthier when it’s non-alcoholic (sorry).
ObamaCare premiums are about to skyrocket; they will double in some parts of the country.
The Obama Administration is will spending $17 million a month advertising for ObamaCare.
Emergency room visits increased after Massachusetts health reform was enacted.
Half of callers to Covered California give up as deadline looms.
Maybe non-alcoholic is better for you, but after reading these headlines, I really need the alcohol.
When government programs do not hire enough call center persons to serve the public, I think there are only a few explanations:
a. the government does not want the program to succeed and be widespread
(this has been true in some states with Medicaid for years, but I do not think it is true for California),,,,,,,
b. The program is out of money
(given the amounts given to computer contractors in all states, what a travesty that is)
Comments welcome!
$17 Million would buy a lot of insurance.
“Study: Red Wine Is Healthier When It’s Non-Alcoholic”
Now that is unfortunate. But isn’t non alcoholic red wine basically just grape juice?
I will never know.
I couldn’t imagine premiums get much higher than they are now. This is a good way to ensure that no one will sign up for ObamaCare health insurance.
I wonder how they were able to state things like “household premiums will fall 25% thanks to Obamacare?” Did they not take into account all factors?
So are they relying on advertising or word of mouth? I thought the thing Obama was saying is to tell everyone about the marketplace. Now they spend insane amounts of money advertising for it.
Just trying to throw up a hail mary pass in order to meet their expectations.
“Emergency Visits Up in Massachusetts After Reforms Enacted”
That’s not surprising. It will be the same way after ObamaCare as well. Get ready for some busy ERs.
“Nearly half of callers to California’s health insurance exchange in February and March couldn’t get through and abandoned their call”
Can you blame them? I gave up on Obama’s call a long time ago.
