    I like the idea of the obesity pill. FDA will probably try to keep us from getting it.

    Some analysts believe the FDA is reluctant to approve an obesity drug because a pill can never be as safe as diet and exercise.

    Scientists successfully transplanted fecal material from thin mice into the guts of obese mice; causing the obese mice to lose weight. There have been human trials in Europe; but the process is considered experimental in the United States. I hope the obesity pill isn’t that type of extreme probiotic!

    Fecal transplants are an experimental treatment for Crohn’s disease — not weight loss.
