What are the odds of you meeting a woman with Barbie’s proportions?
I find it rather puzzling that the odds of meeting Barbie’s twin (without cosmetic enhancement) is 1 in 10,000. But the odds of meeting a Ken doll look-alike is only 1 in 50.
It tends to drive one or both of the participants crazy. It also causes them to act crazy and do crazy things. Maybe love should be catalogued as a mental illness in the DCM-IV.
I think most people have become conditioned to sleeping on a cushy surface. Hundreds of years ago, most people had to make do with a hay stacks, the floor, etc.
Among all of the things people had to cope with back then, I’d bet that not having a Tempur-Pedic matress was the least of their concerns.
I spent three months in the Philippines on a hard piece of particle board as my bed (Mice had infested the mattress) Of my time there I think those three months were the best sleep I had.
Oddly enough, most crazy people try to fake sanity – if they can!
(When I was an undergrad in college, a philosophy professor explained that if — despite being crazy — if you were sane enough to fake sanity then you really weren’t insane since you recognized the difference)

Very interesting article on faking insanity.
Is love a mental illness?

I challenge you to just try to convince my wife of that!

I’m sure Rip Van Winkle would agree with you Jim

Insanity is defined as performing the same action over and over again, expecting a different result each time..
Sounds like the guiding principles behind the SSA budget.
“Barbie: 1 in 100,000 women.”
So your saying there’s a chance?
So what exactly are Barbie’s proportions? Just curious.
No it is not. It can make you go crazy…literally…if it goes wrong. But if its directed towards the right person, it can be a blessing 🙂
