Hennessey’s position is very intersting. If you can pass Obama care that way, why shouldn’t you be able to repeal it that way?

I think the health records situation is a potential nightmare.
Medical record privacy is a little bit of a show. There are too many problems associated with keeping that information private. I’m betting that in the future, we’ll all have mile-long files stored in various places in cyberspace that can be accessed fairly easily. Privacy will be even more fleeting than it is now.
Bruce Schneier wrote a book called, “Secrets and Lies” about the difficulties of electronic security. It’s a really great look at the problems associated with passwording, firewalls, and other security problems. The more technology we have, the more this will begin to impact us all.

I would say the Secretary needs to be fact checked several times a day. Every time she speaks actually.
I agree with Joe. Lot’s more than 800,000 jobs are at stake.
The 800,000 lost jobs will cost taxpayers. The jobs the CBO is talking about are people who willingly leave the job market and retire in their 50’s and early 60’s because taxpayers will subsidize their coverage in the Exchange for a fraction of what it would have cost. In addition to annual subsidies that could amount to $5,000 to $10,000 or more, the government is also missing out on the taxes the formerly employed workers would have paid.
