Health Club Hatchet Job?
This is from a November publication of Consumer Reports:
“[G]yms can … present safety problems,” the article begins. “Bacteria in poorly maintained pools can spread disease. Antibiotic-resistant staph infections can be picked up in crowded locker rooms and from heavily used exercise equipment. You can be injured or even suffer an exercise-related heart problem.”
It was picked up by the Washington Post and other outlets. But is it fair? Here is a rebuttal.
Sounds like a hatchet job.
Ditto Vicki.
How about over-hypeded?
