White House decides which parts of the ObamaCare law to obey or ignore.
It’s not really law if it isn’t followed by all. What’s the point? This just highlights how ill-conceived the bill was when it was rammed through Congress.
Researchers who tested vitamin D pills sold in stores found they contain from 9% to 140% of the doses listed on labels.
There isn’t that much actual danger here. The Mayo Clinic does state that vitamin D toxicity can occur, but that would mean that someone was taking 4 of the D pills with 14,000 International Units for 3 months continuosly. Sounds excessive. The real question is how prevalent is this and in what other products does this occur?
Quote from the actual White House website on the sequester:
“The Department of Justice would need to furlough hundreds of Federal prosecutors. As a result, approximately 1,000 fewer criminal cases nationwide would be prosecuted, and some civil litigation defending the financial interests of the United States would not be pursued, potentially costing taxpayers billions of dollars.”
Maybe if they weren’t prosecuting over 35,000 cases each year of non-violent drug possession charges, this wouldn’t be a problem. LEGALIZE IT.

“The White House explains sequester: innocent people will suffer; not a single dollar of waste will be eliminated.”
– When the GOVT cannot get it together and create a budget, drastic measures need to be taken.

I’ve sort of noticed that too.
That’s rather worrisome.
“White House decides which parts of the ObamaCare law to obey or ignore.”
Sounds to me like a rapidly written bill with many political intentions and less policy-driven concerns.
