“Electronic medical records: They don’t save money and they don’t improve quality, but they do allow hospitals to bill more.”
Sounds like most of the “advances” modernity has made.
More ways to drain our pockets
“The NSA collects 200 million text messages a day.”
Oh? Is that all?
Which means they have the pictures too
Thats a bit disturbing
Yeah, kinda surprising considering it’s less than 1 per person in the US.
Clearly they’re slacking.
If only there was data on the number of assumed people who are affected by the collection.
“Judge rewrites ObamaCare law to allow people to get tax subsidies in the federally run exchanges.”
Last I checked, the judicial and legislative branches hadn’t been combined…
Strange how that just snuck up on us.
“The National Security Agency has collected almost 200 million text messages a day from across the globe, using them to extract data including location, contact networks and credit card details, according to top-secret documents.”
Good luck. I hope you enjoy every disgusting minute of it.
It’s going to be pretty boring too.
“R u here?”
“Not yet”
“K”
That’s one job I’m glad I don’t have.
Yeah I’m sure some of that stuff you cannot unsee
They probably aren’t even screening those positions to exclude creeps and the mentally ill.
So….many…pics…
It is not really accurate to say that ‘the judge rewrote the law.’
The judge interpreted the law by reviewing the actual Congressional debate.
That is not re-writing.
Although Michael Cannon is a fine writer, I always thought that this particular challenge was quite lame. It was almost Clintonesque in the way it found a few words (i.e. “on a state exchange”), and tried to lever these words into changing a major act of Congress.
Besides, it strained credulity to think that the plaintiffs in this suit could say that they were ‘harmed’ by getting a subsidy on the federal exchange. Harm me that way every day, I won’t complain.
