You Probably Thought All That Money Was Being Spent on the Search for New Drugs
It’s official. The drug industry’s chief lobbyists — the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America — raised and spent at least $101.2 million in 2009 on advocacy efforts during the contentious health care debate, according to IRS documents the group filed in mid-November.

This was all very self serving and very disgusting.
The drug companies sold out the doctors, the hospitals and the patients so that they could make a few extra bucks.
I was never fooled. I always thought they were spending millions to screw the rest of us.
