This would be an inexpensive study to perform at a university. Researchers could donate food and a case of liquor to a fraternity for a party and then monitor the results. I wonder it researchers got an NIH grant for this? When preparing the grant proposal how would you word the research design for such a study? It would probably be amusing to read a grant proposal that was written in such a way as to disguise the fact they got undergrads drunk and observed the results
