Who dislikes ObamaCare the most: older men and women vs. younger and married vs. single.

Wow! The ObamaCare hater is mostly of Medicare age and predominantly male.

  2. CBrady says:

Interesting take by Henderson on I, Coffee.

  3. MCD says:

I wonder what the implications are for the future of high deductible insurance if men put off care like the article says.

  4. Perry says:

It is precisely because of Obamacare more ER physicians will be needed. The physician workforce and reimbursement has not been addressed prior to initiating this system. Anti-incentives like lower
pay, long hours, reams of paperwork and expensive mandates like EHR’s are going to impair retention and recruitment of primary care. Also studies indicate that NP’s and PA’s are gravitating more toward specialties than primary care.

Therefore, someone will have to take care of all these people, and the ER will be the place.

A poster in the article mentioned he would take a PA or NP over and MD any day, well, that’s probably what you’re going to get.

    • Randall says:

Exactly! We will need those ER staffers more and more with Obamacare. There will be a higher demand for all kinds of non emergency care that becomes an emergency due to poor decision.

  5. Joe Barnett says:

Today’s jobs report is an indication that the Fed’s quantitative easing can only do so much. But job creation, per se, shouldn’t be the goal. Rather it should be economic growth, which would in turn create jobs.

  6. JD says:

    “Another bad jobs report.”

How many years has it been? 5?
