  1. Brian says:

By signing this petition I would not be protesting any delay or denial but supporting increased delays and denials of healthcare.
Insurance driven heaslthcare is a system built on profit alone. Delays are common-place, (both with actual appointments and with payment for those services), denials are even more frequent with covered treatments determined not by the patient nor the doctor but the insurance agents, and these decisions are unilateral and dictated by office personnell and not by any medical professional. I cannot support such a predatory buisness.
I cannot support the further destruction of lives through both medical issues and financial issues. The status quo is not sustainable and I refuse to sign on to anything that wants to promote the status quo.

  2. Joe S. says:

I agree with the petition and was more than happy to sign it. Brian, as the info pack makes clear, signing this petition is not an endorsement of the status quo. In fact the NCPA has promoted ten reforms — in many ways more radical than what Obama is proposing — to reform the health care system.

  3. Ken says:

Congratulations on getting half of a million people.

  4. Larry C. says:

    Congrats.

  5. Brian says:

    Joe S-
I read the senate version of “reform”. The republican version ensures that insurance will recieve a years premiums and then can legally drop you with no payment of medical services. That forces the person with pre-existing conditions to go to another private plan, pay for another year of premiums,(again with no payout for medical services), andf again legally dropped. In other words. The insurance comapnies NEVER have to pay out one penny for those with pre-existing conditions. This is radical? It sure is. It gives complete control to the insurance companies and no appeals to the consumer. That isn’t healthcare reform…. its a sell-out of the American public to the greed of corporate America. This language is pretty cut anfd dry. I looked it up on the Cato Institute website. Section(s) 2705 2701,2702,2703

This is one plan that NCPA supports. Some plan!

  6. Dorothy A. Ray says:

The health care plan reform as it is now proposed is not taking care of the masses. I don’t think that all of the senate has really read this reform.

  7. Bedee Durham says:

Too costly – too much government.

  8. Mavis M. Caracostas says:

This is a plan to bankrupt the economy.

  9. Mavis M. Caracostas says:

It should be called “the euthanasia bill’

  10. Barney & Violet Jelinski says:

Government health care is not the answer. We need smaller government. lets go back to what made this country great,FREE ENTERPRISE.

  11. Demetrius Baenen says:

Gov. healthcare isnt necessary for all americans. It wont help the middle class. The middle class will have to pay more taxes and they cant afford it. Its too much!!

  12. John Weidner says:

I signed. Proud to sign it. Remember, in 1925 a certain person announced to the world his intentions. No one believed him until it was too late. Stop Obama, NOW!

  13. Ramona Howard says:

I want to sign the petition. I can’t believe the Health Care Bill Obama and the congress are trying to push through and get passed before everyone knows what all is in it. We don’t want the government involved in every aspect of our lives, telling what we can and can not do, or telling the Doctors who they can treat and how. It is none of their business. Let the Doctors do their job. This will raise our taxes and give us less health coverage and the premiums will be higher than they are now. Let’s do something about this. Stop the Health Care Bill!

  14. Gwin Kahl says:

I want to sign the petition. I know the public option will bankrupt our country and ruin the best healthcare system in the world. Please stop the Health Care Bill!

  15. Richard M. Asaro says:

I just saw you on Fox, Huckabee and I agree with your ideas on Health Care Reform.

    Thank You

  16. Ellen Glenn says:

I just saw you on Huckabee, I want to sign the petition. Obama is out of control on this spending, and I am gravely concerned about this health care plan he is trying to put on us.

  17. Patricia Carrino says:

Wake up America and take our country back.

  18. Edward says:

obama hates this country and we need to make sure he does not get re-elected,Of course from the way things are going he doesn’t need much help he’s doing a pretty good job by himself.
