Return of the Jedi: The Free Our Health Care NOW Petition Was Signed, Sealed and Delivered
More than 1.3 million Americans signed, producing the largest public policy petition ever delivered to Congress. On Wednesday afternoon, I joined Governor Pete du Pont, Chairman of the National Center for Policy Analysis, and Salem Radio talk show hosts Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt to deliver the “Free Our Health Care NOW!” petition to the leaders of Congress. The petition signers’ names ran 55,000 pages contained in 15 boxes, delivered on a gurney.
Joining us were House Republican Leader John Boehner (OH), Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl (AZ), Rep. John Shadegg (R-AZ), Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA), Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), Rep. Tom Price (R-GA), Rep. Bob Inglis, and Rep. Steve King.

What a fraud.
You didn’t address the $350 billion a year being stolen from Americans when they pay for private health insurance.
If the government did it those 1.3 million people would storm the barricades. However, the theft was by those insurance firms which literally provides not a penny of medical care for that $350 billion – $2,000 a year per American.
Boscobobb: NCPA has advocated liberal Health Saving Accounts (so people rather than insurance companies and employers) will control their own health care dollars, casualty insurance (so that patients will be the customer of doctors rather than third-party payers), freeing providers from the entire third-party payer reimbusement system (so they are able to repackage and reprice their services to better meet patient needs), and a national market for insurance to replace local oligopolies.
