The CBO should have recommended giving states a block grant not just for Medicaid long-term care, but also for all the other mandatory and option populations and services.
Hmmmm. Maybe Simpson/Bowles isn’t dead yet. We can all be hopeful.
If you are a senator, demanding fiscal constraint is the popular thing to do. Actually voting for it is the least popular thing to do!
