“Big majorities oppose ObamaCare in CBS, Fox, NBC/WSJ polls.”
Definitely not what the administration envisioned to happen so close to the law’s implementation.
I am not sure the administration envisioned anything. Especially, because they claimed we need to pass the law before we know what’s in it…future projections of societal acceptance of the policy doesn’t seem to be at the top of their list.
“Can a laser test determine when you will die?”
This is silly. The myriad of factors that can lead to a person’s death makes this silly.
True. There is no way, and this doesn’t come close, to predict a person’s death. Even physiologically, there can be many illnesses that this test wouldn’t be able to predict. I guess it’s one of those “fun” tests to do, but I don’t see a real utilitarian value in it.
I wonder if the Death Laser can be used to warn people they need to lead healthier lives?
Data security will be important to states. I see lawsuits in the future
Definitely. This will cost the states quite a bit of money.
The moon definitely affects how I sleep. Full moons bring out a different side of me.

-Tyranny of the minority?
otherwise known as democracy.
“Melatonin levels, total sleep time and delta sleep time (the deepest sleep, as recorded by EEG) reached their lowest levels at full moon, and their highest as the moon waxed and waned. The average time it took to fall asleep and the time to arrive at REM sleep (the type of sleep in which dreams occur) followed the opposite pattern, longest at the full moon and shorter as it waxed and waned.”
Wow. Is this true? or is this a correlation without causality kind of thing?
