Sebelius: No Bait and Switch on Medicaid
Sebelius said states hesitant to sign up for the Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act shouldn’t fear that the federal funding commitment will disappear when states boost their Medicaid rolls. Politico
Once you understand these people are not trustworthy, it all makes sense.
Aren’t we still waiting on ICD-10? Last time I checked, ICD-10 was supposed to release in October of this year. Now, it’s October of next year.

Deadlines are rarely understood in this day. PO missed the deadline on turning in a budget yesterday. Try pulling that in the private sector! What does this suggest?
I see it possible that expanding Medicaid coverage will end up being a bait-and-switch as budget battles continue and the cost, and time frame, of implementing the PPACA expands.
The government missing on its deadline, why am I not surprised? What next, the posted-ever-imposing fiscal cliff.
Who needs to keep the government accountable on issues such as missed deadlines like these? Well, us, the civic engagers. It is fine to express dissent, but if it’s not backed-up by tangible impact, then the government will never feel too compelled to be more efficient.
The affordable care act is is becoming more and more of a disaster as each day passes. Unfortunately it looks like its prolly to late to do anything about it.
Why are all of us on this blog focusing on missed deadlines and missing the “real goal” of the federal government in passing ACA as SCOTUS articulated?

This makes me think of Lucy yanking the football away as Charlie Brown kicked. And he kept coming back thinking it would be different the next time.
And will someone please tell Justice Kagan it is not the federal government’s money.
