The level of commitment, especially when you get a gym membership at a discounted rate for signing up with someone else, usually falls on the least motivated person. Thus, you might not be getting all the bang for your buck that you might hope for.
I wonder if this administration or future statists are going to try at some point to force Americans to join a gym. They already have forced us to purchase health care. Similar arguments could be made for requiring us to exercise – theoretically becoming healthier and needing less medical care. So what if it’s totally unconstitutional and wouldn’t have the intended results, so does Obamacare.
Lack of adult supervision tied to injuries among kids.
I find it rather amusing that studies like this are even performed. It should come as no surprise that kids who lack adult supervision experience more adverse events than kids who are monitored by an adult. That’s why they call it “adult supervision!”
I wonder if I could apply for research funding to study whether or not underage kids — given the keys to a car — have more traffic accidents than kids who aren’t allowed to drive?
“Gym memberships are a waste of money.”

You’re only as strong as your weakest link. That’s what coach used to say…. to me…. all the time… Oh god.. Was I the weakest link?
Excuse me, me and my girlfriend need to go to the gym.

Everyone will be forced to go to ObamaGym or pay an annual fine.

“Sleeping in a room with too much light linked to obesity.”
Correlation vs. Causality. Or neither.
I am curious to who would even think of conducting that study.
“Young kids are more likely to get hurt when they are not fully supervised by adults, and especially when they are out of arm’s reach.”
Is that why you see those parents with their kids on leashes these days?
“Eating prunes can help weight loss.”
Probably because all of the test subjects were full of sh… I mean maybe they were backed up.
