I wonder if this could tie in with overweight people dying sooner, and by staying slim you live longer. The fit are essentially leaving the weak in the dust.
Is there any evidence liberals are more rood? Did someone mine the words used on msnbc and fox, or from op-eds or blogs and compare tone? Seems odd to me, normally being aggressive is associated with being conservative. I mean the gender split alone should make liberals better listeners and less combative.

Jackpot!!! Everywhere I go I’m walking at a pace that’s borderline jogging. I hate getting behind someone who is dillydallying at a leisurely pace when I’m trying to get somewhere.

I’ve also noticed this among academic discussions as well. Maybe because many academics are so insulated from the real world, they think anyone who doesn’t agree with them is ignorant beyond belief. Especially in health policy, if you advocate for free health care for all, you may be dismissed as a well-meaning, misguided soft-hearted liberal. But if you’re a conservative and advocate against free health care for all, you’re a hard-hearted, mean-spirited person.
Finally I have a solid excuse for walking fast- “I’m trying to live longer.”
