  1. Adam says:

“Electronic medical records: They don’t save money and they don’t improve quality, but they do allow hospitals to bill more.”

Sounds like most of the “advances” modernity has made.

  2. Wilbur says:

“The NSA collects 200 million text messages a day.”

    Oh? Is that all?

  3. Billy says:

“Judge rewrites ObamaCare law to allow people to get tax subsidies in the federally run exchanges.”

Last I checked, the judicial and legislative branches hadn’t been combined…

  4. Hal says:

“The National Security Agency has collected almost 200 million text messages a day from across the globe, using them to extract data including location, contact networks and credit card details, according to top-secret documents.”

Good luck. I hope you enjoy every disgusting minute of it.

  5. Bob Hertz says:

It is not really accurate to say that ‘the judge rewrote the law.’
The judge interpreted the law by reviewing the actual Congressional debate.
    That is not re-writing.

Although Michael Cannon is a fine writer, I always thought that this particular challenge was quite lame. It was almost Clintonesque in the way it found a few words (i.e. “on a state exchange”), and tried to lever these words into changing a major act of Congress.

Besides, it strained credulity to think that the plaintiffs in this suit could say that they were ‘harmed’ by getting a subsidy on the federal exchange. Harm me that way every day, I won’t complain.
