  1. Billy says:

“Nearly three-fourths of the uninsured have never heard of the (ObamaCare) exchanges.”

Which is reason to believe that the whole program is unnecessary because it is likely they didn’t know of existing programs which could have helped them.

    • Stewart T. says:

It’s pointless to speculate because those programs didn’t exist. Republicans never would have let them pass.

      • Billy says:

        They did exist.

For instance, there was a federal high-risk pool for those with pre-existing conditions and hardly anyone signed up for it.

  2. Jackson says:

“Administration officials say about 476,000 health insurance applications have been filed through federal and state exchanges, but won’t say how many people have actually enrolled.”

    It’s probably laughably low.

  3. Stewart T. says:

If it weren’t for Republicans there wouldn’t be classes in the first place.

  4. Tom G. says:

Gore is confusing increased development, property costs, and inflation with greater storm strength. Storm strength can remain the same (and has) but if the others grow there is more devastation so it looks as if the storm was stronger.

  5. Billy says:

Krugman is nothing more than a polemicist.

  6. Wilbur says:

Whether there is rain or draught, Gore will blame global warming.

    • Jackson says:

Rain or shine, the post office always delivers the mail and Gore says they’re lucky not to have been crushed by giant hail stones.

  7. Thomas says:

How many of those applications are complete and ready to be accepted without review?

    My bet is very few.

  8. Floccina says:

Al Gore: Global warming is producing “increasing storms, floods, droughts and other extreme events.

Nah just higher highs and higher lows have really been proven and those more pronounced further from the equator.
