Can Medical Care Be Delivered by Cell Phone?

An estimated 55 percent of the world’s citizens have [a cell phone], and it’s projected that there will be on average one cell phone for every person in the world by 2018. Strikingly, 80 percent of Mexicans now own at least one cell phone; in fact, the country has more mobile phones than people.

    Of course medical care can be delivered by cell phone, especially NICE-style medical care.

    What’s not to like about virtual meds prescribed by clinical practice software developed from the averages in randomized control studies of people who aren’t like you? Plus, virtual surgery doesn’t hurt as much, has lower infection rates, and costs a lot less.
