For the 4th link: Sounds good, but getting the majority is the tricky part.

  2. Studebaker says:

Robert Samuelson had an interesting article on one of the reasons he’s opposed to ObamaCare. The ACA’s employer mandate fines firms that don’t offer full-time employees health coverage. The IRS has defined what constitutes full time employment for purposes of the penalty. This will encourage employers to reduce many low-wage workers’ hours to less than fulltime.

unlikely he will get much repealed considering many provisions are getting implemented

  4. August says:

Intrade estimates the likelihood of republican control at a 23.1% chance. Interesting analysis though.

  5. Jimmy says:

Intrade is an interesting site, but it overates the incumbent advantage.. especially at the presidential and senate level. Also, current intrade is at 60-40 Obama for the presidential elections…. Every poll has it a vurtual tie.. We have to remember that intrade is a market, and not a predictive model.

Gail Wilensky: the case against ObamaCare.

Obamacare is just a way for the government to take control over a vital commodity, that is access to care. It hasn’t been able to fix the helth care issue and, if anything, has just made it harder (especially for seniors) to receive care. Costs are higher than ever, access to care is getting more unbearable by the minute…it hasn’t worked. I don’t understand how there’s still people who defend it.

  7. Charlotte Spencer says:

    Specialization works in cancer care.

This makes sense. Generally speaking, when you seek help from places where they “specialize” on whatever it is you are looking for, you are more likely to get a more accurate/helpful answer than from those places where they may or may not have some knowledge. Regarding the cost of these procedures, it is quite interesting to see patients wouldn’t be charged higher fees for having access to these “specialists”…thumbs up!

  8. Robert says:

    ‘Specialization works in cancer care.’

This just in: science proves common sense!

  9. Kyle says:

I wonder what the economic cost of all of this uncertainty really is. Compliance must be crushing small business.
