Magnificent robot. How can I hire him.

  2. Tom H. says:

Another advantage of the robot is that it won’t require any attitude adjustment. Also, he probably won’t bring personal or family problems to the office.

  3. Devon Herrick says:

Few people realize that an employer mandate for low-wage workers will cause employers to substitute capital for labor. Instead of hiring ditch diggers and giving each one a shovel, you buy a backhoe and hire a more highly-skilled operator.

  4. Paul H. says:

Also for the robot, there is no time and a half overtime pay, no workers comp, no unemployment insurance and no union. What’s not to like?

  5. John R. Graham says:

Interesting, but hardly productive. I noted that the video was running at 50X the actual speed. The video was 2’2″ long. So, the actual time used was about one hour and twenty-two minutes, or over twenty minutes per towel!

Actually, this might be the level of productivity expected from the federally subsidized health IT system!

About senior care: Not only be nice to your spouse, tell your spouse what you want! I’ve visited a lot of nursing homes as part of my job, and there’s nothing worse than pumping someone full of medicine to stop a heart attack when their last six months will be spent bed ridden in a state of semi-consciousness.

Here’s a link to an excellent Frontline video about the problems associated with aging:

  7. Virginia says:

P.S. I don’t actually do any medication. But, I’ve seen a lot of people who had no quality of life whatsoever.

  8. Neil H. says:

Good catch, John. That’s too slow. Guess I’ll wait for the next generation.

  9. Vicki says:

BTW, good for the urologist. It’s about time honest doctors took a stand.
