United Health has released data from a new survey of its members:
- When employers contribute to a Health Savings Account, 86% of employees open an account, versus only 27% when employers don’t contribute.
- HSA adoptions are highest among those earning less than $25,000 (64%) and lowest among those earning more than $100,000 (50%).

This is good news. It shows that HSAs have appeal across all income groups.
