  1. Anthony Sombers says:

    “The liberal’s war on science.”

I’ve said it before; science is manipulated by both sides for political benefit. It’s very unfortunate the effects this has on science, which at its core has to be objective.

  2. Robert Hall says:

“Sex in space may be bad for your health.”

Too bad I don’t think I will be able to test this, but at least these new findings make me feel better now.

  3. James says:

“Sex in space may be bad for your health.”

    – Interesting finding. I dont know if this will ever be proven of disproven during my lifetime.

  4. Saul says:

    “The liberals’ war on science.”

    – This is an interesting take. Though I understand the authors main point, Im not completely convinced by his argument.

  5. Benedict E. C. Popplewell says:

    “AquaBounty GMO Salmon”

There’s a great skit by George Carlin where he references a pastor who wrote to the FCC to have some questionable content pulled from radio broadcast. Carlin retorts “Well reverend, did you know there’s two knobs on the radio? one changes the station and the other one the volume….” Same thing here. If you like it, eat it. If you don’t, dont.

Personally, I try not to eat GMO. Sometimes you can’t avoid it. The point here is we should let AquaBounty produce the salmon. If we had stringent labaleing requirements, all the anti-GMO-nuts could be 100 percent sure that the salmon they are consuming is not GMO. Let people choose and support growth! Of course, labeling requirements were shot down on the federal level by Monsanto (permit my syllogistic bomb dropping re: the war on science article).

  6. H. James Prince says:

    Sex in Space

One would think that without gravity it would be easier to “get it up”.

  7. Susanne says:

    The liberals’ war on science.

“A 2011 survey by the Public Religion Research Institute found that 81 percent of Democrats but only 49 percent of Republicans believe that Earth is getting warmer.” This shouldn’t be a matter of who believes what, or of Republicans’ beliefs against Democrats’. It’s a matter of what we can see and proof to be true. Whether global warming is actually worsening it’s still very debatable, and that’s a fact.

  8. Edward Swetsen says:

Sex in space may be bad for your health.

This article seems rather inappropriate. “Sex in space is thought to have to become a certainty, as it is unlikely the couple on the Mars mission will want to abstain for the entire 16-month trip.” Whether this couple abstains or not, its noone’s business. They shouldn’t be making studies on this based on the asumption that this couple will do anything. Besides, how relevant is it whether people should or should not have sex in space? It’s not like people go there for vacation.

  9. Gabriel Odom says:

    It’s science. Don’t be such a prude.

  10. Edward Swetsen says:

It might be science, but does it matter? This information is useless….unless you are planning on going to space? Do you realize how much time, and money, is being invested in this that could be directed towards something a bit more useful to us here on Earth? Seriously..
It’s interesting for sure, but that’s about it..
