  1. Anne says:

$24,000 per enrollee! Wow. That is truly astonishing. Many people’s total health-related expenditures for a year are well under that (mine certainly are)! What insanity.

    • Walter Q. says:

You would be hard pressed to find anyone with health related expenditures that high, unless they were terminally ill. The population of Hawaii are not terminally ill.

  2. Thomas says:

Not only is ObamaCare premiums ridiculously expensive without subsidies, but co-pay on important specialty drugs are double than what is through employers. More limits to prescription drugs.

    • Buddy says:

Even more proof (as if we needed anymore) on the unaffordability of ObamaCare. Please let reforms be implemented soon!

  3. Matthew says:

“The total cost to implement Obamacare in Massachusetts surpassed a half-billion dollars yesterday, as the Health Connector board agreed to seek an additional $121 million in federal funds to try to rescue the money-hemorrhaging health exchange.”

So this means that they decided not to join the federal exchange, but to pour more money into their state exchange. What a good use of taxpayer money.

    • James M. says:

“For taxpayers, Obamacare in Massachusetts has been a more-than-half-billion-dollar blunder”

Not just a state blunder, but a national blunder.

      • Jay says:

“Hawaii’s ObamaCare exchange cost nearly $24,000 per enrollee.”

Speaking of state and national blunders…

        • Andrew says:

It cost 200% above the individual federal poverty limit for each enrollee. Think about that.

  4. Trent says:

There’s no way there is enough people who make that much money in Hawaii
