  1. Devon Herrick says:

Can’t eat just one potato chip? There’s actually a scientific reason for that.

    That’s why I don’t buy potato chips.

  2. Jimmy Dean says:

“Where do the fattest people in the U.S. live? Hint: it’s not the South.”

    – The South always gets a terrible rap for being over weight. Glad to see that didnt prove to be the case! Go Texas!

  3. Jimmy Dean says:

Potato chips are very tempting. But, saying “no” could be the best decision you make.

  4. Gabriel Odom says:

Well folks, the Deep South isn’t the fattest region in America – it’s the second fattest. This is nothing to be proud of.

  5. Bertha says:

I’m surprised. One year in the last decade, the fattest state was Michigan. The next year, I moved to Texas, and Texas became the fattest state. My Michigan friends were outraged at losing #1 (as if this were something to be proud of).

My conclusion you ask? I’m huge. I must have tipped the scale!

  6. Patel says:

@ Why you can’t eat just one potato chip?

I remember watching a commercial sometime ago for Lays, “Nobody can eat just one!”

  7. Desai says:

@ Patients don’t trust overweight doctors

There was a hilarious scene like this in the past episode of the Mindy Project, oh my god, it was too funny. I am not surprised by these findings.

  8. Desai says:

    @ Apple shaped people comment

I think it is fair to say that any body shape that departs from the norm is more or less going to have lots of health problems.

  9. Samantha says:

“A lot of decisions are based on geographic differences in obesity – such as how much federal funding goes to regions to fight obesity,” This shouldn’t be an issue of federal funding to fight obesity. It should be more about finding less incentives for people to adopt poor and unhealthy eating habits, which are the main reason for the high obesity rates in this country.

  10. Brandford says:

People are less likely to trust and follow the advice of a fat doctor.

This is not surprising at all. I don’t see why anyone would trust the judgment of a physician that doesn’t portray himself as a healthy person. It’s like getting marital advise from a divorced couple..

  11. Allison Howard says:

Why you can’t eat only one potato chip.

If only people could get so obsessed over salads, vegetables, high in nutrients foods, and other healthy meals…perhaps we would see an immense change in our high obesity rates. Oh you guilty pleasures!
